Make A Difference. Lead through Stanford Zen Society.
Since its founding in 2009, we hosted over 18 on-campus retreats, sponsored numerous lectures by accomplished teachers, and helped countless Stanford students attain increased inner peace through meditation. The reason that we can serve the community in this capacity is our student leadership team.
President, the leader of SZS:
- Be the point of contact for Stanford Associate of Religion and other teams on campus

- Attend the necessary orientations and workshops
Financial Officer, be the chaperone of SZS finances:
- Attend the necessary orientations and workshops
- Submit the budget, revise it as needed, and see that it is approved
- Confirm the funding is in our account
- Submit the work requests that need funding
- Process reimbursements
